Yeah, today is the maestro, musical genius A.R rahman's birthday and for a man whose music has been my past time for most of the time nowadays and who has definitely created in me a passion for music, and whose personality has made an impact in me, no matter how lazy i am, and whatever things are happening around me presently , I thought I had to write this post just simply for the fact that he has made a definite mark in me and so i decided to write it.....!! Just as such what ever comes to my mind.....!!
Rahman realization point or u call it RRP( got this terminology from one of the blogs...) is the the point in life which creates in you a deep interest in Good music aka A.R.RAHMAN. That point is said to be the point when u have realized A.R RAHMAN or his music.
My RRP, i guess is "ennavale adi ennavale......." from kadhalan. That tune from the flute wowww still lingers in my ears and i can hear that song n number of times any time, anywhere, no matter the situations and conditions i am in. I think it was during my 7th standard i first heard that song and i din know then that it was by A.R.RAHMAN and i have been hearing that particular song like anything......!! later in my school days i realized that it was by A.R.RAHMAN and a few more songs like "dilsee re" and "vandhe mataram" and i realized he has made his impact on me.....!! From then on my experiments with A.R.RAHMAN have continued and recently i am giving serious thoughts to learn Music.....!! yes.... i wanna go the musical way....!! hope the New year 2010 turns out to be a starting point....!!
A.R.RAHMAN has attained heights which no mere mortal can achieve and yet A.R.RAHMAN is one of the very humblest of persons i have ever known or heard.......!! and his humility is something that amazes me.......!! When ever i hear his music or hear him talk or read something about him i only get goosebumps......!! He is the man who has redefined music in his own way. His influence in the younger generation of musicians is something thats huge.
For the transformation he has bought in many young people and his contribution to world music, Indian in particular he definitely deserves a "Bharath rathna". Happy birthday RAHMAN sir.......!! and HAPPY RAHMAN JAYANTHI for all rahmaniacs......!!!
And finally happy new years for all......!! let happiness and peace be with all of you....!! let u achieve what ever aspire for.....!! and wish i also successfully carry out all the things i have planned for 2010 !!
